Last night we had our book club meeting to discuss "Catching Fire." We met at the Silver Dragon restaurant, and enjoyed Chinese food along with our discussion! It was a really great turnout! Everyone I have talked to has really enjoyed these "Hunger Games" books. The only complaint is that we have to wait another year for the final installment of the series!!!
We had a lot of fun discussing different parts of the book. We took a vote on who Katniss should end up with, Gale or Peeta. It was a tie! How the series will end, who will die, what the outcome will be, turned into a great conversation! It was also fun to compare notes on what really happened at the end of the book, since things moved so swiftly. It was great to get everyone else's take on it.
Overall, it was a great evening! The food was fabulous, and we were able to stay late into the night talking. I'm sure the whole staff was ready for us to go by the time we meandered out of there. We were the last customers in the place!
