Anne's Story

Last night was a lot of fun at Laura's house! I wish more of you could have come!

Laura Schilaty, Carrie Surowiec, and myself first met at Jamba Juice where we enjoyed a nice frozen concoction. Then Laura and myself wandered over to Laura's house, where we were soon joined by Caroline Rowe and Jolyn Thompson. We had a great evening discussing the book and just chatting in general. Everyone was so impressed with Anne Frank. Her life and her story is simply phenomenal. I was astounded at the level of sophistication in her writing style. I had to keep reminding myself that she was only thirteen years old when she started her diary. It is devastating to think of all the lives cut violently short during the Holocaust. Anne's story has truly touched countless people, which I am sure would be unfathomable for her to grasp.
